Parallel Love: The Story of a Band Called Luxury (2018)

In 2017 I was connected through a friend and work colleague with Matt Hinton, the director of Parallel Love. He was working on a documentary about the mid-90s alt-rock band Luxury, who were poised to break big when they were involved in a horrific van accident while traveling back to Georgia from a music festival in Indiana.

Matt needed a designer to work on a few animated elements that he wanted to enhance the film with. After watching a rough cut, he and I discussed his definite needs and brainstormed what we could add graphically to enhance the story.

For the final version of the movie I designed the logo, opening and main-on-end titles, lower thirds and on-screen text, animated maps and other narrative elements, and the end credits and crawl.
